Experience:
Tax Consulting Services
- Planning for USA and Foreign based multinational companies and for high net-worth families in the creation of international strategies to effectively optimize tax positions. Also consultation for foreign investors in the USA, including investment in USA real estate and strategies for the acquisition of active businesses
- Development of global plans for international high-net worth family including the use of offshore trusts where appropriate
- Consultation in developing new structures and compliance assistance in developing transfer pricing policies, including assistance in applying for and obtaining Advance Pricing Agreements from the Internal Revenue Service
- Representation of clients in the resolution of tax disputes with the USA and foreign tax authorities
Prior Experience
- Served as international tax partner of Deloitte & Touche LLP for the San Francisco Bay Area International Practice and nationally for inbound tax services for Japanese investors
- Past Lecturer on International Taxation and other selected subjects at Golden Gate University Graduate School of Business
