Dennis Wu is co-founder of WuHoover & Co. LLP.  He began his career in public accounting as an auditor and ultimately held various managing partner positions at Deloitte & Touche LLP until he retired in 2004 after 37 years with the firm. 

Accounting/Financial:

Among the many managing partner positions he held at Deloitte, Dennis served as Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Enterprise Group in Northern California, which includes its banking, savings and loans, securities brokerage, insurance real estate, healthcare, and not-for-profit clients.

China/Asia:

Dennis was also leader of Deloitte's transpacific work as:

  • Southeast Asia desk partner interacting with Deloitte's offices in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
  • Greater China desk partner which became Chinese Services Group and served U.S. companies seeking to do business in China, and to serve Chinese companies seeking to penetrate the U.S. Market.

Linked to Dennis' Asian heritage and business experience is his expertise in diversity. He led numerous diversity projects while at Deloitte and served as one of five national leaders for the firm's Diversity initiative and also served as regional diversity leader for Northern California, Hawaii, and the Pacific Northwest.
